Elephant Legs

This one is old-school classic optical illusion. Nicely done, have to
admit. So simple, yet so eye tricky. Count the legs on this
elephant...so many! Still if you look at the elephant you can't be sure
what went wrong and where those extra legs came from. What has he been
eating, Chernobyl food specialties?

Fish or a Girl?

Just look at the image below. I suppose, first thing you see is a fish
on a plate. Right? Well now tilt your head 90 degrees to the left, and
you should be able to see a young girl's face instead of sea creature.
Even the letters in the top corner magically transform from saying
"fish" to saying "girl".

What you see here is an LP cover from Andrew Gold's album. There are 32 things wrong about this picture,
even though everything appears normal. I haven't found all of them by
far! Some of the most obvious ones are the drapes moving in front of
the closed window, the horizon is different in the two windows, not all
legs of his chair touch the ground ... Now it's your turn! Can you find

Abraham Lincoln Mosaic Illusion!!!


Check out this portrait of Abe Lincoln.
It appears there's nothing strange going on, but if you observe it more
closely, you will notice that every part of his head represents
something. For example: top of his head and hair are in shape of a
clown... Can you spot other similarities? There should be seven I
think, but don't take me for granted.

Praying Mother and Child!!!

Can you see the mother with her child, praying somwhere in this
picture? No? I also had some hard time locating them, but at the end it
all became so clear. Maybe if you just rotate the image...

You have to coordinate your two eyes and many parts of your brain in order to see 3D pictures. this is good exercise for your brain. 3D viewing stimulates many areas of the brain, so most people find it very pleasurable. The stimulation makes them feel alert, yet relaxed. It feels good!

The main trick to seeing stereograms is learning to de-couple your focus and eye positioning. You will need to position your eyes as though you were looking at an object about twice as far away, while focusing on the image.

Can you perceive 6 triangles in this Kanisza-like figure?


Some regular concentric objects appear to rotate when we approach
or move back from them. Move your head backwards and forwards
keeping the focus on the central cross of the image, the
3 circular sets will counter-rotate!
