Stop the Battle of the sexes!! Why do we Need to fight?

I saw a reality show when women dominated the world or something like that. Im a woman, and of course like any women I also expirience a lot of bad things in life.
But still I grow tired of fighting about who's better men or women. to be honest I still like a man who shows dominance and yet knows has the heart to show his love for his girl. To be honest I like the macho heroes I watch so much in action movies. I know we have our differences but don't you think its time we put this aside.
As women we have good qualities and not so good ones too, and the same thing for guys, Girl power or guys bring home the bacon, you know things like that, to be honest I like to be in the arms of a man and rest my head in his chest.... OMG anyway you know you get my drift, and I watched some of the old movies in the 50's where women still smoke and guys don't judge them as whores which as hurtful but honestly I've been with a lot guys who thought of me in a negative way just because I smoke
I mean can we co-exist and stop bickering without so much as overpowering one another?? I love men and I love women I thknk of them as my sisters and comrades, put that aside
What is your honest and most brutal opnion about the battle of the sexes??
